MT52 User Manual

Step 1: Get a new SIM card

  1. Purchase a Nano SIM card and activate in a prepaid plan with calls and data enabled. (tracking needs data)
  2. Activate the SIM card

Step 2: Install SIM card

  1. When the device is off, unscrew the SIM card cover and take out the SIM card tray, insert SIM card then replace the cover and tighten screw to ensure waterproof seal is made.
  2. After inserting SIM card, power the device on.
  3. Please use the supplied magnetic charging cable to charge your device before first use.

First Time Use:

Once the sim card has been installed with credit and powered on, you need to send a command to the devices mobile phone number from your phone, command is different for each network provider. If you need assistance with this, please reach out to us. We will require the Mobile Phone Number of the device, the Network Provider, the IMEI and Device ID.

  •  TELSTRA SMS Command:

    Status Instructions:

    When the screen is on, slide down the screen and the working status display area at the top of the screen will indicate:

    • Network, Signal and VoLTE
    • GPS Locating
    • WIFI Locating
    • LBS Locating
    • Battery Capacity
    • Data Use

    Watch Operations:

    When the screen is locked, press the SOS button to unlock the screen.

    1. Slide down the screen to open the settings interface to view the working status of the watch. Click the function icon at the bottom of the screen to adjust the brightness, volume and watch settings.
    2. Slide Left or Right to view the main menu interface.
    3. Click an icon to enter each function interface to perform corresponding operations.
    4. Short press the SOS button to return to the functions main menu and standby interface

    Conversations:

    1. SOS call for Help: Long press the SOS button on the right side of the watch for 3-5 seconds to initiate a call to your preset SOS contacts.
    2. Making a Normal Phone Call: Swipe the screen to find the phonebook interface, click icon to view the preset contacts, swipe the screen to find the person you need to contact, click the phone button to initiate the call (or directly dial outward using the dial on the watch.
    3. Answering Incoming Calls: When the watch is ringing with vibration reminder, click the "Green" answer button on the screen to answer the call or the "Red" button to reject the incoming call.
    4. Voice Messages: Send or receive voice messages through the app (using data plan with incurring credit fees)

    Call to Watch:

    In the APP, Click to call the watch directly (notice: this function needs the watches SIM card number set in APP settings "about the device" section in advance)

    • Voice Talk: It can achieve voice intercom between the watch and APP (using traffic for voice intercom without incurring call fees)
    • Voice Monitoring: After clicking and entering the number that needs to be answered, the watch will proactively dial the number, allowing it to hear the sounds around the watch to determine if the wearer is safe. (this will incur call fees)

    Answer Mode:

    • Auto Answer: When the SOS number or family number dials the watch, it automatically answers the call after two rings.
    • Press to Answer: When dialling with an SOS or family number, manually press the screen button to answer or end the call, or briefly press the watch power button to end the call.

    Health Monitoring:

    Measure heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen.

    1. Enter the Heart Rate and Blood Pressure Menu: Follow the screen prompts to operate. After measurement, the watch screen will display the results and upload them to the app for the carer/guardian to view. To achieve ideal testing, please tighten the watch strap a bit, otherwise the error will be significant.
    2. Measure Body Temperature: This watch provides multiple measurement modes, which can be operated according to the screen instructions.
    3. Set alarm values for Tachycardia and Bradycardia: Based on the wearers physical condition to better understand and take care of the watch wearer remotely.
    4. Step Counter: Set parameters such as step counting time period, step distance and weight in the APP and turn on the switch. The exercise status of the watch wearer will be uploaded to the APP and the wearers exercise status can be remotely monitored in real-time through the APP.
    5. Medication Reminder: Reminders can be set according to the actual situation.
    6. Fall Alarm Switch: Can be turned off or on in the APP. It has 6 sensitivity levels that can be set, please set accordingly (it may generate false alarms)

    Power Off:

    1. When the SIM card is not Inserted: Press and hold the power button for 5-7 seconds and the shutdown bell will sound, indicating the shutdown is successful.
    2. When the SIM card is Inserted: Once the device is turned on with the SIM card inserted, it can only be turned off through the APP so as to avoid the device being shut down accidentally.
    3. Remote Reboot: Reboot the watch remotely.
    4. Remote Power-off: Turn off the watch power through the APP. After turning it off, it can only be turned back on manually. Please use with caution.

    Take off Alert:

    • After 3 minutes of startup, if the watch is removed from the wearers wrist, the APP will receive a take-off alert.

    Safe Mode:

    • After activation, only SOS numbers and phone book numbers can call the watch. Other numbers will be automatically rejected by the watch to prevent scam callers.

    Scene Mode:

    • Watch reminder for incoming calls, medication reminders, alarm clocks etc

    Alarm Clock:

    • Three different alarm modes can be set according to actual usage needs.

    Talking Clock:

    • The voice time report on the watch can be turned off or on.

    Find Watch:

    • After the command is issued, the watch will ring, making it convenient for the carer/guardian to find nearby watch/wearer.

    Device Language and Timezone:

    • Set the language for watch alarm messages and time reporting. Default timezone is set +8

    APP Operation:

    Install the APP on the Carer or Guardians smartphone. Use your smartphone to scan the QR code on the watches settings page. Download and install the APP. Or search for the APP on your phones app store with Android or iOS.

    1. To login, use the 10-digit ID number on the watch
    2. Default password is: 123456

    Real-time Tracking:

    Displays the watches latest location.

    • GPS Uploading Intervals: Adjust the intervals of the GPS reporting position via setting in real-time page. The shorter the interval, the more accurate the positioning, but the shorter the battery standby time. Please set accordingly. It is generally recommended to locate once every 10 minutes.
    • When urgently looking for the wearer, it can be temporarily set to 1 minute and then adjusted back to 10 minutes once wearer is found, so as to ensure the watch has a longer standby time.

    Navigation and Tracing:

    • Click the red arrow at the bottom left of the map page to navigate and find people in your phone map application.

    Historical Route:

    • View the historical route of the watch any day within 90 days, you can choose whether to display the LBS positioning data. (LBS positioning is not good indoors)

    GEO Fence:

    Add, view or delete a GEO fence area.

    • GPS Fence: When the watch moves in or out of a GEO fence, the APP will push an alert. (Notice: to reduce false alerts, a radius of bigger then 300m is recommended)
    • WIFI Fence: Two WIFI security zones can be setup and when the wearer leaves the WIFI zone, the platform immediately pushes alert to the APP. (the watch on recognises 2.4Ghz WIFI. Please select the 2.4Ghz WIFI for the fence.

    Settings:

    All settings on the APP must be completed when the APP displays online (moving/stationery) and the data traffic can be used normally.

    • About the Device: View or edit the watches info.
    • Change Password: Modify APP and Web platforms login password.
    • Main Monitoring Number: Set the number for alert SMS receiving and SMS commands to the watch.
    • Set SOS Numbers: Used by watch wearer to dial the SOS numbers with one click when pressing and holding the SOS button on the side of the watch in an emergency.
    • Phonebook: Up to 15 family members numbers can be set for watch wearer to quickly make phone calls.
